Hurricane Preparation

Your pet’s health is our top priority.

APPOINTMENT

We live in an area that can be threatened by hurricanes.

It’s important to be mindful of the season and stay prepared! Taking your pet along with you is the most important thing families can do during a hurricane evacuation. Include your pets in your family hurricane planning before a storm threatens.

Your pet’s disaster kit checklist should include:

Vaccination history

Emergency contact information

Collar and leashes

3- to 5-day food supply

Your veterinarian's contact information

Permanently identify your pet with a microchip in case you are separated for any reason. When you make your emergency plans, don’t forget your four-legged friend.

Visit the National Hurricane Center website for complete information on hurricanes and tropical storms, including all advisories, watches, and warnings.
